So, over 5 months in…we were expecting to have an approval soon, but it’s looking more bleak now.

What’s made everything stranger now, is that in a list from VisaJourney.com shows a recent uptick in approvals that were submitted around the beginning of December, 2012.
USCIS has always made a point of first come-first served, so why jump over the July-November filers?
There have been some excuses, but none of them hold water, mainly because the reasons occurred well after the slowdown began.
