From the 21st of June, since our file was located, things have been getting fast and better. We’ve been looking forward it being sent to China. Rob took a look at the website, the state was changed to Ready and we know it must be at the consulate. I knew it would be here within one week. I expected it on Monday, however, thanks to the CHINA SPEED, and post office in China is open more days… I got a call on the 30th , and I confirmed with the post man, I knew it’s my P3 arrived. I was so excited, but I didn’t want to wake up my darling until I got it. I asked the postman to deliver it in the morning, but after thinking about it for a while, I called him back, I asked about the closing time for the post office, got the address, and decided go to pick it up myself.
I was so happy I got the P3, as my plan would be that I would send it out on the second day, since my paperwork was already done. However, I found out the paper I received was different with previous versions I found online. After Rob and I did lots of homework online, we found out the consulate updated the document again. The process of how you pay and book the interview had changed too. Now you had to send the documents through the bank, instead of sending them directly. I went to the bank, they didn’t know about that either…of course, it’s too new to them as well…
We decided to try sending it to the old address, and we couldn’t find any bank to take care of it. After everything was confirmed and prepared. I asked the postman to pick up my paperwork, however, he said he would come late of that afternoon, and I didn’t want to wait, so I ran to the post office around the noon.
The post office staff said it would take 3 days! I was shocked as to why the same system can have different delivery dates. So I decided to wait for the postman I spoke with earlier, but after I called him, he said he can’t promised arrived second day now too….FU….so I had to run to the post office again, and I also went to the bank to pay the interview fee, since I already registered online. So 2nd of July, P3 out, interview fee be paid.
After I had done all that, I was going to book the interview date, but I keep being kicked out of the system and I didn’t know why… It was very late, around 5 pm, and I didn’t know why it’s said it had exceeded the users. Rob did a search and said you can’t stay on that page for over 15 mins. Then later it turned out that time some interview slots opened up and hundreds of people were on that page and kept refreshing the date to book the interview. I wasn’t lucky enough to catch the “train”. But I was lucky to get my next turn very quick.
I added a QQ group on the 4th since my home internet was back on. I got it from VJ that Rob found for me and I added myself very late in the middle of night. The next day on the 5th, I dealt with my work problems, and I got on QQ around 10 pm, when I was messaged by someone who told me go to book the interview now, because consulate opened the calendar.
I tried my best to get to that page, and I didn’t see anything… I was so sad…I thought, I must be too late to catch the queue again. I asked the group member about it, they told me to refresh page, and then I did see 3 days open and I was so happy! I didn’t care it’s was very late and I didn’t care if it was very early in the morning, I just go ahead click that option.
I was afraid that if I was slow even one second, it would be gone. I finally made it, I was so happy…i just added that group, and on the first night I got my interview booked. I am so lucky, and I am satisfied it’s not in September….I talked to some people online, they said they booked 19-22th, I guess I was one hour late, and I got interview one week behind…it’s not surprising, over 500 people try to get an interview at the same time……so 5th, my interview booked…Now we are waiting for P4.
New update on the 15th
After I wait for one week, I feel things really not right…I haven’t heard anything back…so I started talk to people found out it doesn’t work if you send the document out yourself.
BUT..WHY THE BANK NOT ACCEPT MY FILE?
They kept telling me they don’t do immigrant mailings. I felt so lost, that the consulate ask me to it that way, and they don’t accept it….so i have been running to different banks and trying over and over. The weather was bad, and I was so frustrated….
Finally I got a big sub-bank…they do have services to do that, but I was told the consulate was already closed for the move…so they won’t send out anything until the 23rd… I told them I heard people say the files were being sent to the Beijing consulate…and they said, even so it’s for a non-immigrant visa, so they don’t send there….I could have gotten it done before the consulate closed, I could have had my P4 now…but because those banks have no idea what’s going on, I have to wait 1 month instead of people who wait for only 1 week….
I feel so frustrated because I already waited 6 months for the P2 and other people just 3-4 months, Then I waited 2 months for the P2.5 when most get it in 1 week…now for P3 I have to wait another 1 month…why every P’s I have problems…?
In February the consulate changed the system, in April consulate changed again to the online system…June they have more changes and the banks have no idea….This is sucks…I’m always hitting a bad time….
This won’t be updated until the consulate opens….who know what will come next….

I figured things would go faster and easier once it got to China as well. It’s not been that way at all. What’s worse for me is there’s not really much I can do to shoulder the burden. All I can do is listen to her trials and tribulations over the phone… hear her lost, wet, and miserable, all because the consulate and the CITIC bank can’t seem to coordinate their actions. Really pisses me off, considering everything else we’ve gone through, does it ever get easier?
Seems like fate is conspiring to make this as difficult as possible. We knew it was going to be a long road, but it just keeps getting longer.

update for recently what happened 31th
After a long wait, finally waited 23rd the consulate opened. I worried about my file stay in then bank for long time, the staffs forget post it for me, so I called the bank. However, 2 numbers, all morning, i didn’t stop calling and no matter what , no body pick up the phone. I got freak out. I decided go the bank myself around the noon, though it’s one hour trip to go there.
After i arrived, the manager is there, he was talking to a woman(seems like a visa angeny) i nicely ask about my file, he wasn’t really happy and ask me why I went that time, it’s lunch time.I told him, nobody pick up my call, he seems got impatient and he said all files gone already on last Friday, but the consulate reject accept it. THIS IS SHIT ME OUT. I don’t know why and they even cant tell me. There is nothing I can do, so i decided back, before I go, I did one test, call the 2 numbers there right way. and NO PHONE RING from the desk…..
I didn’t know what to do after that. I emailed the consulate, normally get responds within three days, but already been almost 10 days. didn’t hear anything. So i called the consulate. Follow the guider is “” immigrant please press X”. I press X, immigrant visa press 1, K visa press 2, 2! K visa is a non-immigrant visa blah blah blah…and…I was like O_O. I got confused…I did ask customer servers about that, they said K visa is non- immigrant visa but go immigrant process
anyway I found out they got my file at 22nd July, 2013
Today, the website update my state 31th,July, 2013
Same day received the email from consulate, said they did received my P3
I am glad, at least they are working on my P3 now, hope P4 coming soon, and no more problem on my way get delay….
